Good Original (OEM) vintage part

Description

Original left front turn signal light for DS, 1968 onwards, with stainless steel frame. Complete with bulb holder and period gasket. A few imperfections (see photos), including a crack on the upper left side which has been repaired (the light is waterproof). The flashing part is bright orange, and not at all discolored, as the last picture shows. The interior (reflector part) is in good condition. A rare original.

Complet, avec son support d'ampoule et joint d'époque. Quelques imperfections (voir photos), dont une fente sur la partie supérieure gauche qui a été réparée (le feu est étanche). La partie clignotante est bien orangée, et pas du tout décolorée, comme l'atteste la dernière image. L'intérieur (partie réflecteur) est en bon état de conservation. Rare en origine.

See in its original language (French) : Fin 1967, Citroën procède à l'une des modifications les plus importantes concernant la DS, avec l'adoption d'une nouvelle face avant (une des plus belles réussites dans l'histoire du restylage automobile ;)). Ceci se traduit pour les modèles Pallas par l'adoption de jonc en inox sur le pourtour des vitres de phares, et pour les clignotants. Bizarrerie typique à la marque, mais Citroën décide à compter du millésime 1970 de supprimer cette distinction, et ces pièces d'accastillage seront désormais en plastique. Chose regrettable puisque le plastique vieilli très mal, contrairement à l'inox. Il s'agit ici du coup d'une pièce d'origine, assez rare. Elle comporte certes quelques imperfections mais à considérer, puisque proposée moitiée moins chère que les refabrications, à la qualité parfois douteuse. A noter, et la chose est d'ailleurs visible sur la dernière photo de l'annonce: il n'est pas possible d'extraire le cadre inox et de l'apposer sur un feu qui n'en a pas. La taille diffère en effet.
